By using Karma Karyam (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is provided as a tool for spiritual reflection and practical career action, not as a substitute for professional advice.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. The Service

Karma Karyam combines Vedic astrology (Jyotish) interpretation with large-language-model AI guidance, mantra libraries, and reminder tools. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Free and Premium tiers

Free tier: 1 (one) AI Oracle question per account, lifetime. Unlimited access to the mantra library, daily ritual checklist, sankalpa tracker, and muhurta calculator.
Premium tier: US $4.99 per month, billed monthly. Includes 10 AI Oracle questions per day, plus up to 2 bonus questions per day awarded for thoughtful or under-utilised use. Premium auto-renews until cancelled.
Cancellation: cancel anytime from your Profile page (Stripe portal) or, for Android subscribers, from the Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: handled per the platform policy of the payment processor that took your payment (Stripe or Google Play). For Stripe, refund requests within 7 days of purchase will be honoured at our discretion.
Quota does not roll over. Unused daily questions expire at midnight UTC.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

Use the Service to harass, harm, or deceive others.
Attempt to bypass the question quota, scrape responses, or resell access.
Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in any way that violates applicable laws.
Upload Kundali files that are not your own without permission.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

5. AI-generated content

The AI Oracle is a tool, not an authority. Its responses are generated by large language models based on your chart and question, blended with traditional Vedic frameworks and scripture. The Service is for reflection and inspiration, not for medical, legal, financial, or professional career advice. Always exercise your own judgment.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or specific outcomes of any guidance the Service provides. Astrological readings reflect tendencies, not certainties.

6. Sankalpa donation proof

When you choose to send proof of a daana (donation), you do so via your own email client. The Service does not collect, verify, or audit your donations. Your sankalpa is a personal commitment between you and your conscience.

7. Intellectual property

The Service's design, code, brand, and mantra library curation are owned by Karma Karyam.
Sanskrit verses themselves are in the public domain (classical sources, attributed where known).
Your data and your generated readings belong to you. You grant us a limited license to process them solely for delivering the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your specific needs. We are not liable for any career, financial, health, or personal outcomes arising from your use of the guidance provided.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or that engage in abusive use. On termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to the Service or these terms

We may modify the Service or these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Karma Karyam is operated. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction. (If you are an EU/UK consumer, you retain your mandatory local consumer-protection rights.)
